VIDEO: Footage of Syrian Army and allies fortifying positions at Iraqi border

Syrian state TV published a report made by the correspondent at Syrian-Iraqi border where Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and allies continue fortifying their defensive positions they established earlier last week.

Remarkably, Russian T-90 tanks are also present at the frontline along with other heavy equipment pieces:

Syrian Army and allied forces reached the Iraqi border on June 9, having made a shocking manoeuvre which came as a complete surprise for both pro-government and opposition media outlets, as well as for the mainstream media.

On Sunday, some opposition activists claimed that SAA was forced to withrdaw from the border “under U.S. pressure”.
