Video footage of the Syrian Army capturing Ma’ardes in northern Hama

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their large-scale offensive in the northern Hama countryside on Sunday, targeting the key town of Ma’ardes that was held by the jihadist rebels.

Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army managed to impose full control over Ma’ardes after a fierce battle with Jaysh Al-Nasr, Ibna Al-Sham, and other jihadist groups entrenched in northern Hama.

Following the Syrian Army’s seizure of Ma’ardes, the jihadist rebels attempted to reclaim the town short after losing it; however, this would ultimately fail, as the government forces reestablished full control over all points.
