VIDEO: Iraqi Army Finds ISIS Ammunition, Weapons Mass Grave in Fallujah

Iraqi troops have found a mass grave in Fallujah where they believe IS (ISIS / Daesh / ISIL) group extremists killed during battles for the liberation of the city were buried.

The grave includes hundreds of tombs with bodies of foreign and local ISIS extremists, according to the spokesman for the Iraqi Ministry of Defense.

Iraqi troops said they have also found ammunition and weapons that were used by the extremists in Fallujah during the siege.

The military collected the ammunition and stored it in a warehouse at Tariq military camp near Fallujah.

The city of Fallujah was liberated from Islamic State group (ISIS / Daesh / ISIL / IS) militants in late June.

Fallujah, about 40 miles (65 kilometers) west of Baghdad, was the first city to fall to the Islamic State (ISIS / Daesh / ISIL / IS) group in January 2014.

The extremists still control the country’s second-largest city of Mosul.
