Footage released by the Syrian military’s media arm on Thursday appeared to show government troops firing rockets and mortar rounds on enemy targets in the village of Souran, in northern Hama; Al-Alam News Network reports.

 

 

The video by Syrian Central Military Media showed several soldiers stationed on tanks while others loaded shells into rocket launchers.

Syrian President Bashar Assad’s troops were reportedly working with other allied militia against the al-Qaida-linked Jaish Fatah al-Sham, formerly known as the Nusra Front.
