Video: Syrian soldier reunification with his family in Aleppo

After four years of being tragically torn apart, a Syrian soldier was finally able to meet with his family following the liberation of the Hanano district, a suburban area in northeastern part of Aleppo which had left his relatives trapped since 2012.

More joyful scenes took place as some 600 people managed to escape rebel-held districts of Aleppo on Saturday as the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) inched closer to bringing the fully city back under government control.

In addition, Colonel Suheil al-Hassan – commander in chief of the SAA’s renown Tiger Forces – spoke personally with the freed civilians in front of Syrian state television.
