Militants Suffer Heavy Casualties East, North of Syria’s Hama Province

The Syrian Army announced on Saturday that at least 11 terrorist were killed and many more were wounded in the Syrian army’s ground and artillery attacks in the Northern and Eastern parts of Hama province.

“The Syrian army’s artillery units shelled concentration centers of the militant groups near Salba village in the Eastern countryside of Hama city, which ended in destruction of the militants’ military equipment,” the army said.

“In the meantime, a long convoy of the ISIL military vehicles was targeted by the Syrian army near al-Rahjan village in the Eastern part of Hama province, which claimed the lives of at least eight militants and wounded several others,” the army added.

“Three members of Jund al-Aqsa militant group, affiliated to the ISIL, were killed and several more were wounded as a result of the Syrian government forces’ attack near Morek North of Hama province,” the army went on to say.

Sources said earlier today that a senior field commander of Jeish al-Fatah terrorist group was killed in the Syrian Army troops’ offensives in the Northwestern part of Hama province.

“The Syrian pro-government forces’ attacks on Jeish al-Fatah’s concentration centers in Tal Wasit, al-Mansoura, al-Ziyara and al-Qahira claimed the lives of at least 30 terrorists, including Abu Bakr al-Assadi, a notorious commander of the terrorist group,” the army said.

“The attacks damaged at least seven military vehicles of the militants,” the army added.
