Video tour of Castillo Highway in northern Aleppo

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has returned to the Castillo Highway after withdrawing some 3.5 km north of the roadway yesterday.

Hezbollah’s media wing was able to film from the Syrian Arab Army controlled part of the Castillo Highway on Friday after receiving permission from the Russian Marines in northern Aleppo

The video shows the Castillo Highway absent of heavy weapons because at the time, the Syrian Armed Forces had withdrawn their equipment to the nearby Al-Malaah Farms, per the ceasefire agreement.

The Syrian Armed Forces are temporarily back at the Castillo Highway in order to protect the Syrian Red Crescent Society workers and Russian military advisors.
