Voting in second round of 9th parliamentary elections ends

The second round of ninth parliamentary elections ended on Friday evening at 14, 323 polling stations in 33 constituencies.

The second round of parliamentary election started on Friday morning and it was extended for three times in Tehran until 9:00 p.m. and until 8:00 p.m. in some other constituencies.

A total of 130 candidates participated in the second round of the ninth parliamentary elections to determine the fate of 65 of the remaining seats of the total 290 seats of the parliament.

According to the Interior Ministry’s officials, the vote counting in 1,500 polling stations takes place automatically and without interference of the humans.
