Wanted Terrorists Killed in Syrian Army’s Mop-up Operations in Aleppo

Dozens of militants were killed, including two prominent terrorists, in military operations carried out by the Syrian army in the outskirt of the Northern city of Aleppo, media said.
As part of the army’s going “North Storm” operation, Syrian troops on Thursday attacked terrorists inside an occupied building in South of Minnigeh Airport and inflicted heavy casualties upon them.

Abu Jandal Saudi and Abu Leis Maghrebi were among the wanted terrorists killed in the Syrian army operations, Alalam reported.

In the past months, the Syrian army has moved steadily against the terrorists in key battleground areas, making advances near the border with Lebanon and considerably lowering the threat to Damascus.

Syria has been gripped by unrest for more than two years. The foreign-sponsored militancy has taken its toll on the lives of thousands of people, including large numbers of Syrian soldiers and security personnel.
