Hujjat-ul-Islam Hassan al-Masri, deputy of the political bureau of Amal movement in Lebanon, in an interview with Iran’s RASA News Agency denounced British-style Shia as a complementary to Takfiri (excommunication) group rejecting allegations that Mosul and Aleppo battles to be between Shia and Sunni communities, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” Contrary to some allegations, neither Syrian Army is Shia nor those killed are Sunni since the war is a battle of the resistance against Takfiri groups.”

The cleric slammed arrogant powers to mastermind the crimes committed in the present era and noted,” Arrogant powers launched uprisings under the name of popular movements then colored it with sectarian issues” and added,” They struggled to harass Muslims in civil wars as soon as they found the intensification of anti-Zionist morale among Muslims.”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hassan al-Masri related on the reasons behind crisis in Syria and said the battle in Syria was a pretext to cut the Islamic resistance line which crossed Syria; hence, they poured in Takfiri terrorists into Syria, a plague which has led to Syria status quo.

Member of Lebanon’s Amal movement rejected sectarian wars in the Middle East and stressed,” Allegations of Shia-Sunni war is mere lie because regional clashes are political and not religious for instance in Mosul, ISIL and its regional allies are at war with the Iraqi Army and popular forces which includes Sunni, Shia and Christians” noting that this is a war between the nation and the resistance against Takfiri groups.

Lebanese cleric called Zionism as the major issue for the world of Islam and called Muslim world to be vigilant on the nature of regional clashes saying, ” Does not the clear cooperation of the Arab governments with the Zionist regime awaken the nations?”

Senior member of Amal movement highlighted necessity of foiling intrigues hatched by colonial powers through perseverance of the nations warning that the west will regret launching the Zionist regime, ISIL and Qaeda.

Sheikh Hassan al-Masri called Islamic unity as the best solution for the present situation in Muslim world saying,” Cooperation of Shia and Sunni can lead to advancements for all Muslims.”

According to the scholar there are extremists among followers of all religions and the threat posed by these people is bigger than that of Takfiri groups.

“British-style Shia is playing the role of complementary to British-style Shia” said the scholar and referred to some radical Shia figures desecrate Sunni sanctities in London-based satellite channels.
