Water and Weapons in Africa

Getting access to electricity and water is getting more and more challenging for Africans.

At the same time, foreign powers continue to be involved in a mission of getting and maintaining control of African resources.

In this episode of Africa Today, we will focus on Africa’s hydroelectric potential, which is larger than anywhere else on the planet.

The show will seek to show the continuing paradox of African desire for self-sufficiency and the West’s push for global military presence to control resources.

The show will also provide an update on just how much the US Africom mission has grown.
