We terminated ten more zionist soldiers: Hamas

Al-Qassam Brigades, which is the military wing of Hamas, says Palestinian resistance fighters have killed at least ten more Israeli soldiers over the past few hours.

The resistance group says its fighters killed the Israeli soldiers near the northeastern part of the Gaza Strip on early hours of Friday.

The resistance group has put the death toll at about eighty including at least ten Israeli soldiers that the resistance movement says it had killed in the east of Beit Hanoun earlier in the day.

The latest killings come as the death toll among Israeli troops engaged in the offensive against the besieged region is on the rise.

The Israeli army confirmed the deaths of two of its soldiers over the past 24 hours. According to Israeli media, the latest deaths bring to 36 the number of troops killed in Tel Aviv’s 18-day onslaught.

This is while the Israeli army has informed the family of a missing soldier that it says has been killed. However, Qassam Brigades said it captured the Israeli soldier, Oron Shaul, on Saturday during an ambush on Israeli forces in the Sheja’iyah neighborhood, east of Gaza.

Israel has kept tight reins on media outlets with regards to the exact number of Israeli soldiers captured or killed during its ongoing assault on the besieged coastal enclave.

The rising death toll of Israeli forces during the ongoing assault on Gaza Strip has prompted growing opposition to the war among the Israeli public.

About 830 Palestinians have so far been killed and over 5,300 wounded since the Israeli military first launched its onslaught on the Palestinian enclave on July 8.

International bodies and human rights groups say Israeli military’s actions in the impoverished region could amount to war crimes.
