We’ll realize Islamic unity

Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought met with a board of Hezbollah representatives and said the present clashes between Shia and Sunni is organized by the enemies of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said, “World of Islam has never been witness to such a period of clashes and intrigues among Muslims which are ongoing even in the farthest villages in Islamic countries.”

Iranian cleric added,” Contrary to these issues the future of the Muslims is a bright one and all Muslim elites and thinkers will agree that a final unity among Muslims is a necessity.”

He referred to importance of Muslim unity in the holy book of Islam and highlighted prevention of intrigues and clashes as a feature of Muslims.

Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought explained his view on the meaning of Islamic fraternity saying,”Fraternity is not a matter of forms in Islam rather it is a true relation which is a memoir of the grand Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

He stressed proximity discussions are not stated merely by Iran or Shia Islam rather several calls are heard from civil and government centers in the world of Islam which highlight the issue of proximity and this is the great achievement by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
