West Azarbaijan’s hospitals ready to help injured Turkish citizens

West Azarbaijan governor general Vahid Jalalzadeh said on Sunday that the province’s hospitals are ready to accommodate the injured Turkish citizens in the province’s hospitals.

The official noted that he has contacted the Turkish officials in Van province and informed them about Iran’s readiness to help the quake-hit people of Turkey.

“Turkish officials have asked for dispatching ambulances and heavy machinery that was agreed by Iranian authorities,” Jalalzadeh added.

Meanwhile, deputy head of Crisis Headquarters of West Azarbaijan province Javad Maroufi said that the hospitals and medical centers of the province are ready to accept the Turkish citizens who have been injured in recent devastating earthquake in that country.

Maroufi noted that several injured Turkish citizens are on their way to Iranian hospitals and as soon as they arrive in Iran, they will be treated accordingly.
