Wide military operations continue in several areas around Syria

A child died and another was injured when terrorists fired a mortar shell on the residential al-Nil street in Aleppo city, whereas wide military operations continued Thursday to eradicate terrorism in several areas around the country.

A source at Aleppo Police Command said that the mortar fired by terrorists on Wednesday fell down near al-Ghofran Mosque in al-Nil street, claiming the life of a girl and injuring a boy.

Military source: Numbers of terrorists killed in Aleppo city and countryside

Army units demolished hideouts for armed terrorist groups in several neighborhoods, villages and towns in Aleppo, killing and injuring scores of terrorists.

A military source told SANA that army units eliminated terrorists in the neighborhoods of al-Sukkari, al-Inzaraat, old city, al-Sakhour, al-Sheikh Said, Hanano and Bustan al-Qasr.

Members of an armed terrorist group were killed in an army ambush near Saif al-Dawla square, as another army unit killed six terrorists in al-Saliheen on al-Mseifra road.

The source added that army units destroyed cars for terrorists with the weapons and ammunition inside them in the villages and towns of al-Jadida, Kweires, al-Breij, Rasm al-Abboud, the industrial city, al-Atareb, Orum, al-Sheik Khodr, Azzan, Haddadin, Ein al-Jamajmeh and the area surrounding Aleppo central prison.

Citizen injured by terrorists’ grenade in Hasaka

A citizen was injured when a terrorist threw a grenade near a shop in Masaken al-Mahatta neighborhood central Hasaka city.

A source at Hasaka Police Command told SANA that a terrorist riding a motorcycle hurled the grenade to a shop in the neighborhood and fled away, causing injury to a citizen, in addition to material damage to the area.

Terrorist groups’ leaders smashed in Hama

An army unit destroyed an armed terrorist groups’ leaders den in kafar Zeta village in Hama countryside, killing all the terrorists inside.

A source said that the bodies of the terrorists Hazaa al-Dawas from Saudi Arabia, Darbas al-Wafi from Libya, Radwan al-Khaled, Mostafa al-Jaddou and Hussein al-Wahi were identified among the dead.

Group attempting to infiltrate from Jordan eliminated

An army unit confronted an armed terrorist group that attempted to infiltrated from Jordan to the Syrian territories, killing all its members.

A source said that many terrorists were killed near Zamrin-Samlin roundabout, adding that the body of Mohannad Haymoud was identified among the killed terrorists.

An army unit also eliminated an armed terrorist group and destroyed its members’ weapons on Jubata al-Khashab road in Quneitra countryside.

Terrorists killed in Daraa

A military source told SANA that the army units stormed terrorists’ dens and gatherings in al-Marshat, al-Masara in Daraa al-Balad, killing and injuring scores of terrorists, most of them affiliated to the so-called Jabhat al-Nusra and “al-Muthana Brigade”.

Army units repelled terrorists’ attempt to attack Kaimari village in Homs countryside

Units of the armed forces repelled terrorists who were attempting to attack the citizens of Kaimari village in Homs countryside, in addition to destroying a number of their dens and gatherings in several areas of Homs.

A source told SANA that the army units clashed with armed terrorist groups’ member affiliated to “Jound al-Sham” who were attempting to attack the citizens of Kaimari village in Talkalakh countryside, killing 13 of them, while the others escaped.

The source added that other army units killed 25 terrorists in al-Zaraa town, in addition to destroying their dens along with the weapons and ammunition in the neighborhoods of al-Qarabes, al-Qusour and Jouret al-Shiyah.

Army kills terrorists, destroys their hideouts in Homs

A military source told SANA that Army units killed and wounded a number of terrorists in al-Qusour neighborhood and destroyed their hideouts in al-Sa’en, Bait Hajjo, Eyoun Hussein villages and near the sport hall in Talbiseh in Homs countryside with all their criminal tools inside them.

The source added that a terrorists’ car equipped with heavy machinegun was destroyed near al-Taibeh village in al-Hula area, as a number of terrorists were killed.

An army unit confronted an armed terrorist group tried to attack the water station in al-Mashairfeh village in Homs countryside, killing and injuring a number of its members.

Army eliminates terrorists in Deir Ezzor

Army units clashed with terrorists in al-Rashidiyeh, al-Howiqa, al-Jbeileh neighborhoods , killing and injuring scores of them, a source told SANA.

The source added that terrorists Sattam Saud, Yazan Ibrahim, Saad al-Matar, Akram al-Zarae, Jamal al-Khayer, Naji al-Mikhlef and Jamal al-Howaijwere identified among the dead.

An army unit eliminated all members of an armed terrorist group in al-Mara’ei village, among them Mohammad Qurah.

Military source: scores of terrorists eliminated in Aleppo countryside

Units of the army destroyed dens of terrorist groups in Aleppo countryside and eliminated tens of terrorists.

A military source told SANA reporter that units of the army eliminated terrorists in al-sukari, Inzarat and the old city of Aleppo.

Entire group of terrorists was eliminated in a tight ambush set by an army unit in Saif al-Dawlah, the source added.

The army units also destroyed terrorist cars with the weapons and ammunition inside in several towns of Aleppo countryside.

Interior Ministry: terrorist attempt to attack Aleppo Central Prison foiled

Guards personnel of the Central Prison of Aleppo confronted on Thursday a terrorist attempt to attack the prison and inflicted heavy losses on them.

In a statement of which SANA received a copy, the Interior Ministry said that a suicide terrorist group tried to storm the prison after detonating two booby-trapped vehicles near the main gate of the prison and clashed with the security personnel of the prison and the army units who foiled the terrorists attempt.

The ministry added that 20 suicide terrorists equipped with explosive belts and tens of armed terrorists were killed.

Three members of the security personnel were martyred and twenty others were injured during the clashes.
