Yemen Deploys Hypersonic Missile Targeting Israel’s Main Airport for Second Time This Week, Millions Seek Shelter
Yemen's missile forces have targeted Israel's key aviation hub, Ben Gurion Airport, marking the second attack in under a week.

Yemen’s missile forces have launched an attack on Israel’s major airport, Ben Gurion, marking the second such strike within a week.
The country’s Armed Forces have announced, via their spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree, that they conducted a military operation utilizing a hypersonic ballistic missile, as revealed on Tuesday.
An official reported that the missile accurately reached its intended target.
In a scenario reminiscent of the earlier strike on Friday, where a similar projectile was employed, the most recent attack prompted millions of illegal settlers to seek refuge in shelters as missile alerts echoed across the occupied Palestinian territories. Once again, Israel’s US-manufactured THAAD defense system faced failure as Yemen launched a hypersonic missile targeting a critical airport. The missile, originating from Yemen, reached the contested territories, creating widespread disruption and forcing large numbers to seek safety.
Airport operations were likewise suspended “for nearly an hour.”
The establishment, located in proximity to Tel Aviv, serves as the main entry point for the regime.
The operation has been initiated as a direct response to what is described as ongoing acts of genocide by Israel against the Palestinian population, according to statements from Saree.
Yemeni forces initiated retaliatory strikes following the regime’s initiation of a conflict in the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in the deaths of over 52,900 Palestinians, predominantly women and children.
The strikes have reportedly targeted Ben Gurion Airport on multiple occasions, sparing the facility in two recent operations.
Throughout the duration of the conflict, numerous strikes have been conducted, focusing on strategic and sensitive locations within the occupied territories.
In the wake of their initiation, the operations were expanded to impose a naval blockade targeting Israeli ships and vessels, which were transporting goods, including military supplies, to the territories.
Earlier this month, Yemeni military personnel declared the implementation of an aerial blockade on the Israeli regime. The Yemeni Armed Forces have confirmed their intention to enforce this blockade by repeatedly targeting Israeli airports, effectively cutting off aerial traffic.
Numerous international airlines have subsequently decided to halt flights to the occupied territories.
In the latest development concerning the Yemeni airstrike, spokesperson Saree reiterated that the operation underscores the enforcement of the ongoing flight restrictions at the specified airport.
“It is urged that remaining airline companies consider suspending their flights to the airports in the region referred to as ‘occupied Palestine,’ following the precedent set by other airlines that have already ceased their operations there.”
The forces, in a recent statement, reiterated their commitment to ongoing strikes until the regime halts its alleged genocidal aggression towards Gaza. They also called for the lifting of a siege that has been imposed on the coastal enclave since 2007, noting that the blockade has become increasingly intolerable in recent months.
The servicemen further emphasized the moral responsibility of the Muslim world to oppose the Israeli regime and back the Palestinian quest for liberation from Israeli occupation and hostilities.
