Yemeni forces shoot down a Saudi spy plane in northwestern Yemen

On Tuesday, Yemen’s air defense forces have brought down a Saudi-led coalition’s reconnaissance plane in Midi desert in the province of Hajjah, western Yemen.

Earlier, on May 14, the military and the Popular Committees (Houthis) were able to shoot down a Saudi Arabian reconnaissance vehicle in Midi too.

It is noteworthy that joint forces of Yemeni Republican Guard and Popular Committees recently prevented several infiltration attempts by Saudi-backed mercenaries in the border area of ​​Midi.

Dozens of coalition’s soldiers were killed in clashes, including the commander of the Sudanese forces on Midi front; hundreds were wounded. Besides, Saudi-led coalition suffered heavy material losses.
