“Great victories of the Yemeni army and popular forces are underway in the occupied territories of Jizan and Najran,” Nasser al-Arajli, member of Yemen’s Free Party told FNA on Tuesday.
He noted that Saudi Arabia is fighting a proxy war on behalf of Israel against the Yemeni nation, and said, “The recent victories against the terrorists and Saudi mercenaries would not have been achieved if there had not been the efforts of the Yemeni army and popular forces.
Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for 153 days now to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed at least 5,518 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children.
Hadi stepped down in January and refused to reconsider the decision despite calls by Ansarullah revolutionaries of the Houthi movement.
Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
