Yemeni forum denounces UK designation to call Hezbollah as terrorist

Part of the statement by Yemeni scholars reads,” Forum for Yemeni scholars has pursued UK government measure to designate Hezbollah as terrorist and says every Muslim and anyone who understands the concepts of freedom, bravery, honor and esteem would feel proud of the movement.”

It added,” This is a movement that has brought pride to the Arab and Islamic nation in several instances and is standing by Palestine in all circumstances.”

The forum reiterated its denunciation of the anti-Hezbollah move by UK calling on the Arab and Islamic nation to voice its solidarity with Islamic resistance movements fighting against American, Zionist imperialism.

Yemeni scholars in their statement urged Muslims to maintain unity and stressed,” UK is among supporters of colonialism and together with the US, Israeli regime and all their allies should be recognized as terrorists.”

Forum of Yemeni scholars issued the statement a week after the UK government made a decision on designating Hezbollah resistance movement as terrorist group.
