Yemeni revolutionaries injured in capital

Several Yemeni revolutionaries have been injured during clashes between supporters of Yemen’s Ali Abdullah Saleh and his opponents in the capital Sana’a.

The clashes occurred early Sunday morning near Change Square in Sana’a, witnesses said.

Meanwhile, revolutionaries have planned a mass demonstration on Sunday.

On Saturday, thousands of people took to the streets to call for the prosecution of Saleh and his son over the deadly crackdown on innocent people .

Revolutionaries also chanted slogans against the United States and Saudi Arabia for interfering in Yemen’s internal affairs.

Tens of thousands of people came to the streets since late January, calling on Saleh to leave his decades-long power.

However, Saleh has refused to step down and ordered its forces to crush the protests with military forces.

Nearly 1,500 people have been killed and many others injured since the beginning of the revolution in the Arab country, according to officials.
