Yemenis’ Morals, Pride Vs. Aggression’s Brutality, Savagery

Despite the heavy, fierce war, they have never lost determination, patience, will and morals. A people surrounded with hunger and fire, suffering and enduring, rallies in millions despite the danger of airstrikes to support a political council that represents its vision of liberation and independence.

The Yemeni army and committees, despite the heavy and horrible airstrikes and massacres killing their people and children, haven’t lost the strong will. They move in steep positions with high professionalism. They take over some sites that overlook cities inside the Saudi borders, with drones above their heads, equipped with courage and will.

One notices that amid the battle, they adhere to humanitarian morals, even when dealing with the military element that contributes to the aggression. It is noteworthy that in many situations, they leave the Saudi soldiers flee for their lives, a humanitarian and moral gesture even with those contributing to the aggression against their lands. Once they do not detect any direct threat, they let the Saudi vehicles flee the sites, according to Yemeni media sources, because they estimate there are among them misguided soldiers.

Despite the months-long painful siege, the Yemeni people are still courageous, free and enduring, which will then lead to victory. The army and the committees are still in progress, deterring the mercenaries’ attacks on daily basis. They further go beyond the borders.

Although they were able since the beginning of the aggression to move forward inside the borders, they were patient and enduring, offering the aggressors a chance to revise their steps. Nowadays, they are seen daily controlling sites inside the Saudi borders. For instance, the Yemeni fighters surprised Saudi soldiers inside their military sites, commanding them to give up, despite the warplanes flying in the air. Soldiers were fleeing fearfully in their vehicles from a spot to another. A Saudi vehicle rammed another one when trying to escape! Accordingly, social media users started using the hashtag #Saudi_Surrender, with photos of the storming operation, and the Saudi soldiers escaping.

Yemenis are trying to express a solid will, and to be patient amid the poverty and hard economic circumstances that couldn’t be tolerated by humans, under no humanitarian deterrent on the side of the aggressors. Yemenis, through their rallies and social media networks, are trying to raise their voice high to inform others about their situation and the facts on ground under the imposed siege and banning media outlets from reporting the image, and the wide scale media misleading.

The aggression continues, with the heaviest airstrikes ever, as if taking revenge of the Yemeni people, civil society and institutions, as well as hospitals, with complete silence from the human rights pretenders, except some very quiet voices here and there. Such voices put the aggressor and the victim on the same level, and when some United Nations organizations try to raise their voice, the American and Saudi pressures succeed in silencing them.

In this regard, United Nations Human Rights High Commissioner, Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, called for establishing an independent international committee to investigate the crimes committed in Yemen.

Indeed, some international organizations had previously called for independent investigation in the strikes and crimes committed by the Saudi-led coalition in its war on Yemen. Atop of these organizations was Human Rights Watch that stressed “some strikes are war crimes.”

The Yemeni people, despite all circumstances, are strong enough to confront and endure. They will triumph over the aggression sooner or later despite the world powers alliance against them, and the fierce airstrikes, as well as the Takfiri danger and the aggression’s mercenaries from the inside.

A people, which lies beneath bombing, strict besiege, destruction and displacement of families for a year and a half, who has nobody to defend but some warm-hearted countries, is an already poor people. The individual annual average income is less than 600$. The population is more than 26 million in an economically weak country. Despite the attempts to make use of the oil resources to improve the economy, we find it is alive people when receiving refugees. Yemeni people take to the streets in support of Arab and Muslim causes before their own ones. They are patient, endure the mightiest of economic and military countries, know how to manage the aggression and oblige it to accept negotiations. However, the people of Yemen don’t compromise, nor accept any agreement that doesn’t guarantee the freedom and unity of Yemen, in respect of all the sacrifices.
