Yemenis once again take to Sana’a streets to slam zionist Saudi aggression

Thousands of Yemenis have once again gathered on the streets of the capital, Sana’a, to slam the fatal Saudi aggression against the impoverished Arab country.

The demonstrators on Monday chanted slogans against the United States, the Israeli regime, Saudi Arabia, the ISIL Takfiri terrorists and the al-Qaeda militants.

The protesters shouted they will stand firm and determined in the face of the US-Saudi aggression.

The rally was organized by Supreme Revolutionary Council of Yemen and was a second such gathering in less than two weeks.

The demonstrators warned Saudi Arabia and its allies, including the United State and Israel, that the bloody aggression against Yemen will not go unanswered and they will respond decisively to the assault.

“We are coming, we will dig your graves, we will wipe you off the map,” chanted the demonstrators.

A speaker called Saudi Arabia as the kingdom of ISIL, referring to Saudi Arabia’s support for the terrorist groups operating in various parts of Middle East.

“The aggression has uncovered the ugly face of the Saudi regime as the disease of the Umma, as the cancerous trauma of the Islamic world,” he said, adding that Saudis continue to support the terrorists in various countries, including Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

He claimed that it was the Saudi intelligence authority that ordered the killing of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, saying her assassination proved how much the Saudis are deeply engaged in terrorism against the governments and the nations.

“[It is] a regime which tries to destabilize the Islamic world through its intelligence tools, through ISIL and other terrorist groups,” he said.

Another speaker representing the Yemeni tribal population also warned the Saudis against the consequences of the continued aggression against Yemen, saying that Riyadh would soon suffer defeat.

During the mass rally, people chanted slogans in support of freedom and liberty and said their faith in the struggle against terrorism and oppression will not be dented.

The protesters also condemned Saudi Arabia’s blockade of the impoverished Arab nation, saying that Riyadh’s denial of medicine and food to the poor people in Yemen is another sign of the regime’s brutality and irrationality.

They described the members of the [Persian] Gulf Cooperation Council as “haters” who support the terrorists in Yemen through providing arms and funds to them.

They demonstrators said the Saudi rulers are absolutely “irreligious” as they enjoy killing innocent people, which is contrary to the Islamic principles. One speaker said the Saudi fighter jets have bombed mosques and houses at prayer times and this shows the kingdom has no respect for religion and religious teachings.

“Saudis, you are liars” the protesters chanted, calling the Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz “a betrayer of the Holy Mosques in Mecca and Medina.”

A final statement was also issued at the end of the rally in which demonstrators supported the Houthi Ansarullah movement, which currently controls Sana’a and other major provinces. They said the popular revolutionary committees, a body run by Houthis and allies which administers the affairs in Yemen, “has the legitimacy its needs for ruling the country.”

They also called on the committees to resume national talks under the auspices of United Nations with the presence of other political factions.

In the statement, the demonstrators called on the international community to stop turning a blind eye to the atrocities committed by Saudi Arabia and its allies against the innocent Yemeni people.

They also voiced their appreciation for those supporting the Yemeni nation and its cause for freedom while also expressing their sympathy for those fighters killed in the battle against terrorists in the south and north of the country.
