Yemen’s Ansarullah Spokesman: Saudi-led Coalition Mobilizing Troops in Marib

The spokesman of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement, Mohammad Abdul Salam, indicated that the Saudi-led coalition is mobilizing troops in Marib in preparation for violating the UN-brokered truce.

Abdul Salam warned that the response to any violation of the ceasefire will be very painful for Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.

UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg announced on April 1 a two-month truce, adding that the parties accepted to halt all offensive military air, ground and maritime operations inside Yemen and across its borders.

Grundberg added that the parties also agreed for fuel ships to enter into Hodeidah ports and commercial flights to operate in and out of Sanaa airport to predetermined destinations in the region, noting they further agreed to meet under my auspices to open roads in Taiz and other governorates in Yemen.

However, the Saudi-led coalition has continued to seize the diesel cargo ships.
