Zahhar: Al-Quds intifada laying the foundation for ending the occupation

Member of Hamas’s political bureau Mahmoud al-Zahhar has said that al-Quds intifada (uprising) is paving the way for the demise of the Israeli occupation.

During his Friday Khutba (sermon) in a Gaza Mosque, Zahhar said that the Palestinians would not allow non-Muslims to visit the Aqsa Mosque and create a fait accompli leading to the building of the alleged temple.

He also underlined that the plan of dividing the Aqsa Mosque between Muslims and Jews is doomed to failure after the Palestinian people from all spectra rose up to defend the Aqsa Mosque.

He stressed that “all bets on the West Bank and Jerusalem people’s complacency will lose.”

“Those who have thought that the people in the West Bank have become submissive and acclimatized to humiliation and Oslo accords are mistaken,” the Hamas official said, asserting that the resistance in Gaza would never forsake the West Bank in any way.
