Zahhar: The resistance is gearing up for the day of liberation

Member of Hamas’s political bureau Mahmoud Al-Zahhar said that the time of Israel’s invasion of the Gaza Strip is gone forever and the Palestinian resistance is now in the process of preparing for the day of liberation.

In a press meeting held by the Palestinian media forum on Saturday, Zahhar added that Hamas, which leads the resistance in Gaza, surprised the Israeli occupation regime with its military ability.

He hailed the resistance for its ability to hit Israeli targets during the war precisely avoiding the occupied Arab areas, and denied Israel’s claims about its success in finishing the Palestinian rocket deterrence, affirming that they kept striking Israeli targets until the last minute before the truce.

The Hamas officials affirmed that the post-war resistance is embarking on reorganizing their ranks and strengthening their defense capabilities in order to get ready for any future Israeli escalation.

Zahhar also held US president Barack Obama responsible for Israel’s killing of civilians and children in Gaza, saying he gave Israel his permission to strike Gazans.

He called for boycotting the US products and stressed that his Movement is able to contribute to redoubling the economic crisis in the US if it persists in supporting Israel’s crimes in Palestine.
