Zionist Israel is planning to build another separation barrier along the border with Jordan following the completion of a similar so-called security fence on its border with Egypt.

According to Israeli media sources, the army has recommended the construction of the 30-kilometer security barrier inside the West Bank near the Jordanian border.

The army claims that the massive wall is needed for the protection of a new airport which is currently under construction at Timna region, some 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of the resort city of Eilat.

Tel Aviv also claims that the wall aims to foil attempts by possible infiltration of global militants from Jordan.

The wall will be equipped with security cameras and watch towers.

Israel also built a barrier on its southern border with Egypt, also near Eilat, in 2013 to keep out illegal African immigrants.

Tel Aviv has another border fence with the occupied Gaza Strip and barriers on the frontiers with Syria and Lebanon.

Palestinians say the barriers are aimed at isolating them. They say Tel Aviv is seeking to drive out Palestinians in an attempt to Judaize the occupied West Bank.

Israel has reportedly allocated some USD 17 billion to Judaize East Jerusalem al-Quds in the occupied West Bank.

Over the past decades, Israel has tried to change the demographic makeup of al-Quds by constructing illegal settlements, destroying historical sites and expelling the local Palestinian population.

Israel occupied and then annexed the West Bank and East Jerusalem al-Quds in the Six-Day War of 1967, but the move has never been recognized by the international community.
