zionist Puppet Abbas offers Israel 3 years to withdraw from WB

The Palestinian Authority (PA) has offered a three-year gradual withdrawal by Israel from the occupied West Bank.

The proposal was presented by the acting PA Chief Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday as part of any future peace deal.

“I am saying that clearly: whoever proposes 10 or 15 years for a transition period does not want to withdraw,” Abbas said.

“We say that a transitional period should not exceed three years, during which Israel can withdraw gradually,” he added.

Israel, however, demands for a continuing military presence in the Jordan Valley, to the east of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, with Israeli officials calling such a deployment vital to Israel’s security.

Israel occupied the Palestinian territories of East al-Quds, the Gaza Strip, and the West Bank during the Six-Day War of 1967. Israel conducted a self-proclaimed withdrawal from Gaza in 2005, but Israeli forces have been carrying out regular deadly forays into the sliver ever since the so-called pullout.

Palestinians are seeking to create an independent state on the three territories.

US Secretary of State John Kerry has given Israelis and Palestinians a nine-month deadline, ending in April, to reach a peace deal.
