Zionist Puppet Bahraini Regime Officially Escalates Repression against Peaceful Protesters

Al Khalifa officially announced on Wednesday it was escalating measures against peaceful protesters, with regime forces stageing a campaign of attacks and arrests in cities and towns across the country.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa said there was an “essential escalation” against Bahrainis who demanded change.

“There is an essential escalation; there is a procedural one, a local one and mobilization.. What shall we do…”

The interior minister also noted that there has been no deaths among the police since the beginning of the uprising.
“Not even one policeman was killed, there are injuries.. Right but there are no deaths till now”.

These confessions by the minister refute earlier allegations by the regime that two policemen were killed by attack launched by protesters.

CAMPAIGN OF RAIDS AND ATTACKS
On the ground, regime forces have raided eastern villages of Nuwaidrat, al-Ikr and Ma’ameer as it staged assaults with white weapons.

Security forces have fired toxic gases and tear gas bombs on houses, people were injured and some were suffocated.

Meanwhile in village of Iskan Aali, security forces attacked a group of protesters who protested to express solidarity with prominent human rights activists, Abdulhadi al-Khawaja, who has been going on a hunger strike for two months.

Four protesters were injured during the attack, one of them was in a critical condition.

Also in the village, regime forces wearing civilian clothes attacked, beat and broke the cars of a group of protesters, who were demanding the fall of Al Khalifa regime.
In the southwestern area of Shahrakan a massive protest took place. It was faced by toxic gases and rubber bullets fired by regime forces.
