Zionist Puppet Bahraini Regime to Try 11-Year-old Boy, Sheikh Salman Stresses People Demands

A Bahraini court is to try an eleven-year-old boy for what the Manama regime claims was “disturbing security” while being out on the street, as the Secretary General of al-Wefaq group stressed the rightfulness of the Bahraini people’s demands.

The trial of Ali Hasan was adjourned to June 20, a lawyer familiar with his case said on Monday. The minor was handed over to his parents on June 11 until his trial.

Hasan has been temporarily released to “allow time to review a report on him prepared by a social worker,” said the lawyer, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Bahrain’s chief prosecutor for juveniles, Noura Al Khalifa, said in a statement on Sunday that the boy was arrested on May 14 while blocking a street outside the capital, Manama, with garbage containers and wood planks.

“ALL REGION ARMIES WON’T OBSTRUCT BAHRAINI PEOPLE DEMANDS”
As he called for a popular referendum in Bahrain, the Secretary General of al-Wefaq association, Sheikh Ali Salman, stressed that all armies in the region would not obstruct the rightful demands of the people.

At a mass meeting in Bahrain Monday, Sheikh Salman stressed the rightfulness of the Bahrainis’ demands, saying “it is the right of Bahrainis to elect their government.”

Al-Wefaq S.G. called for referendum to decide whether the government would be elected or designated.
“I will renew the demands of the opposition. It’s the right of Bahrainis, Sunni or Shiite, to be the source of legislations in our country.”

Sheikh Salman also said that the issue in Bahrain “is not a matter of power,” assuring that “all armies in the region would not obstruct the rightful demands of the people.”
