Zionist regime forces scouring southern al-Khalil in search of missing settlers

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have reportedly expanded their search operations in southern al-Khalil by Friday evening for three missing settlers.

Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that IOF soldiers broke into Sinjer suburb in Dura town, south of al-Khalil, and searched all houses while looking for any trace of three Jewish settlers who went missing on Thursday night.

They said that inhabitants threw burnt tires in the way of the soldiers and pelted them with stones and empty bottles.

The soldiers also raided several nearby villages as part of the search operation, which Hebrew media sources said was being made under the supervision of chief of staff Benny Gantz.

The sources said that the three settlers drove in a car from Gush Etzion, south of Bethlehem, toward Jerusalem but never reached it.

Local sources in al-Khalil city said that IOF soldiers raided many suburbs in the city and searched houses and shops and confiscated monitoring cameras, as the Israeli army command was now considering their disappearance as a possible “kidnap” by Palestinian resistance elements.
