Zionist regime’s forces storm Palestinian camp

4854ce4ee2991f10ed11b8aa0dbe528e_LZionist regime’s police have once again forcibly removed Palestinians from a new tent camp near an occupied West Bank village that was set up in protest to Tel Aviv settlement plans.

According to Press TV, Zionist regime’s forces resorted to tear gas and violence for the third time on Saturday, to remove hundreds of people who had set up tents near Burin, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Journalists were also forcibly removed from the site.
In January, Palestinians put up a 24-tent protest camp on disputed land on the eastern outskirts of al-Quds, dubbed Bab al-Shams or Gate of the Sun in Arabic, in a bid to draw attention to Zionist regime’s plans to build new illegal settlement units in the area.
Zionist forces, however, attacked the tents and forced activists out of the location two days later.
On January 15, Palestinian protesters tried to return to the site, but Zionist forces blocked them, declaring the area a closed military zone.
Later that month, activists set up an encampment of four tents and a structure under construction to protest against Zionist regime ‘s intention to confiscate land near Beit Iksa northwest of al-Quds, naming it Bab al-Karama, or “Gate of Dignity.”
