More Civilians Killed, Wounded in US-Led Coalitions Attacks in Syria’s Raqqa

Local sources in Northeastern Syria disclosed on Sunday that over six civilians were killed and injured in the US-led collation’s air raids in Western Raqqa.

The sources said that four civilians, including two children, were killed and two more were wounded in the coalition’s air assault on the town of al-Tabaqa in Western Raqqa.

Local sources said in January that at least 11 civilians, including five children, were killed and several more were wounded in the attacks of the US-led coalition’s warplanes on two villages in the Northern and Western countryside of Raqqa city in Northeastern Syria.

The sources said that two civilians were killed in the village of Qazban and nine others, including five children, were killed in the village of al-Sweidiyeh al-Kabireh after the coalition fighter jets bombed the villages heavily.

A medical source disclosed in late December that 29 civilians, including children and women, were killed or wounded in the US-led coalition airstrikes on the town of Debsi Afnan West of Raqqa city, the self-proclaimed capital of ISIL in Northeastern Syria.

The medial source in al-Tabaqa town said that seven civilians, including three children were killed and 22 more civilians, including women and children, were injured in the coalition air raid on Debsi Afnan.

“The buildings that were targeted in the air raids were the houses of civilians and were not bases of ISIL,” the source further underlined.
