ZOF closes Ibrahimi Mosque, kidnaps 7 citizens

The Zionist occupation authorities closed the Ibrahimi Mosque, and tightened its military actions in its environment, under the pretext of Jewish holidays.

Sheikh Zayed Al-Jabari the director of the Al Khalil Waqf denounced closing the campus by the Zionist authorities for today, tomorrow and preventing Muslims from performing their prayers in it.

He said: These procedures of tightening security measures at the entrance and the main streets leading to the campus, aimed to prevent Muslims from reaching the Haram Al-Sharif, in order to provide security for the dozens of settlers to perform religious rituals at the expense of 400 thousand Muslim living in Old City of Al Khalil.

Furthermore, he added that the occupation authorities prevented Muslims as Haram Al-Sharif calling for prayer during the month of September the last (69) time from offering prayers.

Jabari considers the prevention of Muslims from reaching their worship places, and holy Mosque contrary to all international norms and other heavenly religions.

Moreover, Zionist occupation forces plan to close the Ibrahimi Mosque for tomorrow on the pretext of celebration of Jewish holidays.

Kidnapping continued

In the same context, Zionist occupation forces kidnapped seven citizens on Sunday early, raids and inspections carried out in the town of Beit Awa southwest of Hebron.

Human rights sources said that the detainees are: Ismail Mohamed Ismail Suweity, Moath Jihad Muhammad Suweity, Anas Shakir Suweti, Abdul-Jabbar Fawzi Attia Suweity, all are in the age of fifteen, while Kidnapping Jihad Hashim Hassan Suweti (23 years), Salim Ibrahim Hassan Suweti (23 years), and Mohamed Abdel-Hadi Suweti.

Local sources indicated that the occupation forces have stepped up their presence and patrols in various parts of the town at dawn today, and began a raid, Kidnap, and searched a number of houses known as one of the owners, Yasser Abdullah Suweti and Yusuf Abdullah Suweti.
