ZOF wound 12 Palestinians in Al Quds

Twelve Palestinians have been wounded since early Sunday in attacks launched by the Zionist occupation forces against people stationed in the courtyards of Al Aqsa mosque.

Media sources said that among the injured in the attacks, Fatima Al Burdi (40 years), who was injured in her leg after the soldiers fired tear gas and metal bullets inside the mosque. After the refusal of the worshipers to go out, the occupation forces closed Al Aqsa gates.

Dozens of Jerusalemite and Palestinians of 48 flocked to the mosque late on Saturday in response to the calls of Palestinian figures to defend Al Aqsa against the storming attempts by Jewish groups on the occasion of “Purim” eid.

Earlier in the morning, the crowded Palestinians succeeded to repel the first attempt to storm the courtyards by settlers who raided the courtyards to evacuate the Palestinians in preparation for the raid.

In the same context, separated clashes erupted between the Zionist forces and the worshippers in response for the Zionist prevention for them to enter Al Aqsa mosque; the Palestinian youths threw stones at the police who responded by firing bullets and coins.
