Syrian Army in full control of Beit Jinn area after last militants leave
The last militants left in the Beit Jinn area of western Damascus last week, a military source told Al-Masdar News.
According to the military source, the last militants were transported from the Beit Jinn area to the Idlib Governorate as part of the agreement put in place late last year.
While military operations in Beit Jinn had concluded, some militants were still present in the area as they awaited transportation to the Idlib Governorate.
With this departure, the Syrian Arab Army now fully controls the entire Beit Jinn area, including the hilltops overlooking the town.
