On the occasion of the anniversary of the zionist israeli war against Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas Prime Minister of the blockaded Gaza strip started his first visit to Tunisia.
Welcomed as a hero and warmly greeted by the Government, Ennahda members, and the people, Haniyeh expressed his full support for Tunisia because despite all the challenges Tunisian people are facing, “they are still standing for the Palestinian cause,” he said.
Ismail Haniyeh addressed the masses in a historical speech defying israel and denouncing the occupation of Palestine.
Thousands of Tunisian people chanted slogans calling for the liberation of Palestine, the non-recognition of israel and Tunisia’s commitment to the Palestinian cause.
At the end of his speech, Haniyeh announced that he will never recognize zionist israel and that injustice targeting Palestinians will only lead in determination to liberate Gaza and Palestine. He left the meeting confident that Palestine, Gaza, and Hamas will have more support and that Western tyrants will be defeated.
Ismail Haniyeh’s visit to Tunisia is in support of the causes of Tunisians and Palestinians but it’s also a coded message to israel that tyranny will end soon in Palestine.
