Iran seriously continues fighting narcotics

According to IRIB, he said at the end of the 56th annual session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs, Mostafa Mohammad Najjar said that Iran was considered the forefront of fighting narcotic drugs, and that the country has been very serious in the way, incurring ample losses.
The Iranian minister, who is also head of a regional team formed in this connection in the region, said that the world community is expected take at least a part of financial responsibility in fighting drugs, besides due cooperation. Najjar noted that the West is the main target of drug trafficking, while other countries are bearing the brunt.
The two-day 56th annual session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs began its work at the UN Headquarters on Monday, March 12.
