“At least 140 Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) and amounts of C4 explosive materials, ready to be planted in al-Seenia area in Tikrit, were discovered by the volunteer forces of Hashed al-Shaabi,” the sources said.
The recent victories of the Iraqi army and popular forces against the ISIL in various parts of Iraq, including Salahuddin, Anbar and Nineveh provinces, have incited the terrorists to intensify their blind attacks on the civilian targets.
Earlier reports said that the Iraqi Army and popular forces, in a joint operation, identified and captured a Saudi National terrorist in Salahuddin province.
“A Saudi suicide bomber was arrested by the Iraqi forces in Makhoul mountains near Beiji before he can carry out any attack on the military or civilian targets,” the sources said.
“The Iraqi forces seized several explosive-laden jackets in the operation,” the sources further added.
Many sources have thus far confirmed vast presence of the international terrorists, including the Saudi ones, within the ranks of the ISIL militant group in Iraq and Syria.
