URGENT: Terror collapsing in last stronghold east of Damascus as the Syrian Army rapidly advances

Minutes ago, the Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard broke-through Jaysh Al-Islam’s (Army of Islam) primary defenses at Hazrama and entered this town for the first time in four years.

Backed by the Palestine Liberation Army (PLA), the Syrian Arab Army managed to seize most of Hazrama already, killing and wounding several Jaysh Al-Islam militants while also capturing a large weapons depot inside this East Ghouta town.

A Syrian Army officer told Al-Masdar News during the advance that the 105th Brigade cutoff Jaysh Al-Islam’s main supply line to the town, leaving them without the possibility of reinforcing Hazrama from the nearby village of Nashabiyah.

In addition to this information, the Syrian Army officer also informed Al-Masdar News that the 105th Brigade has seized more than 70 percent of Hazrama today.

Elsewhere, in a lightening style attack, Syrian Army Special Forces stormed the key hilltop town of Tal Farzat, capturing half of this area and jfortifying their positions.

If the Syrian Arab Army captures Tal Farzat, then they will essentially have fire control over the nearby towns of Hawsh Salhiyah and Nashabiyah.
