A blast hits Damascus, Syrian Army continues its battle against al-Qaeda

Free Army militia blows up an explosive device in the middle of Damascus, while Syrian Arab Army continues its operations against al-Qaeda strongholds of Edlib countryside.

The explosive charge was affixed by a car near a bakery in al-Fahamah area.

Our correspondent points out that the blast has resulted in material damages and no human causalities were recorded.

Our correspondent points out that units of Syrian Army hit a positions for the gunmen in the Square of the bakery of Saraqeb city, claiming the life of more than 18 armed men and the injury of many others, including Tunisians.
