 Iran’s Navy Commander, Admiral Shahram Irani stated that Operation of True Promise against the Zionist Israeli regime proved to everyone that Muslims unite in support of the oppressed and standing against the oppressor.

Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the Iran Army Day ceremony, Admiral Shahram Irani said that there has been a change in the balance of power in the region at the hands of the Resistance Forces.

The Operation of True Promise conducted by Iran against the Israeli regime in response to an earlier attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria proved to everyone that Muslims unite in support of the oppressed and confronting the oppressor, he noted.

He further added that the operation showed the whole world how a real power deals with a fake power on the battlefield.

The continuation of this process will be in such a way that the governments of the region fulfill the wishes of their people and will know what their nations want, Iran said.

The Israeli regime attacked Iran’s consulate in the Syrian capital of Damascus on April 1. The Israeli aggression led to the destruction of the entire building and the martyrdom and injury of the entire people inside it.

Seven of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) military advisors were martyred following the Israeli attack on Iran’s consulate in Damascus, IRGC said in a statement.

In response to the Israeli aggression, Iran attacked the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories with a barrage of drones and missiles early on Sunday.

Following the attack, Iran announced that it does not seek to create tension in the region and had carried out the anti-Zionist operation to punish the Zionist regime.

However, the Iranian political and military officials have strongly warned that the country would give a severe response in case of any fresh Israeli aggression.
