Worried ’Israel’: What After the Raid?!

zoFor “Israel”, to attack a target on the Syrian-Lebanese border is a heavy price adventure.
And as the supposed “Israeli” raid went with no comment from the Lebanese resistance, “Israeli” officials and media entered the tunnel of worried analysis.

“”Israel” is behind the airstrike on a weapons convoy near the Syrian-Lebanese border Monday night,” a senior “Israeli” official told Time Magazine.

In an attempt to justify the Zionist entity’s aggression, the “Israeli” official claimed that “the target was a convoy that apparently included missiles with heavier and more dangerous warheads than the ones that are already held by Hizbullah.”

The official further claimed that “Hizbullah obtained tens of thousands of rockets directed at the heart of population centers in “Israel”.”

Immediately following the events, an “Israeli” security source declined to comment to news agency Reuters whether there was an “Israeli” strike in Lebanon or Syria. However, the source confirmed that that “Israeli” army executed an unusual operation in the north.

“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday refused to confirm whether “Israel” carried out an airstrike along the Syrian-Lebanon border, but said: “We would do everything possible to protect the security of “Israel”.”
“I don’t talk about what is claimed we did or did not do – that’s the first part. The second part is that we do whatever it takes to protect the security of the people of “Israel”.”
Not far from Netanyahu’s declaration, “Israeli” Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz on Wednesday morning hinted that “Israel’s” hand was behind the air strike on Monday.

On the repercussions, “Israel’s” Haaretz daily feared that “Hizbullah may begin targeting “Israeli” officials in retaliation against Monday’s “Israeli” strike against a target near the Lebanese-Syrian border.”
“The party may begin targeting senior “Israeli” officials,” sources told the daily.

Moreover, the daily mentioned: “It seems “Israeli” military officials are preparing accordingly. In any case, Hizbullah is not expected to react immediately.”
