Earlier this morning, the Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces,” backed by Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary), launched a new attack in southern Aleppo, targeting the jihadist-controlled Al-‘Amariyah District.

According to Liwaa Al-Quds’ media wing, the Syrian Armed Forces managed to capture 4 building blocks inside of Al-‘Amariyah, advancing eastward after a violent battle this morning with Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest).

With the ceasefire set to begin on Monday, the Syrian Armed Forces are looking to expel the remaining jihadist militants that are occupying the residential buildings in southern Aleppo.

The Syrian Armed Forces will continue its offensive operations in the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project because the area is filled with jihadist rebels from Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front).
