Fatah Al-Sham’s Terror Base Destroyed in Syrian Army Offensives in Northern Homs
Syrian army men struck heavily a large base of Fatah al-Sham near the village of al-Sa’an al-Aswad in Talbiseh region, destroying the base and killing or wounding tens of militants.
In the meantime, several armored vehicles of Fatah al-Sham were targeted and destroyed in army attacks in Ezzeddeen, Talbiseh and the village of al-Za’afaraniyeh.
Two commanders of Fatah al-Sham were also killed in clashes with the Syrian army in Northern Homs.
In relevant developments in the province on Saturday, ISIL left tens of dead or injured members behind and retreated from the battlefield after its attacks on government forces’ positions in Eastern Homs were repelled by the Syrian soldiers.
ISIL attacked government positions in Muhmiyeh al-Talileh with several bomb-laden cars, but the Syrian army troops targeted the suicide vehicles before they could approach their strongholds.
A pursuing attack by the terrorists in the region was strongly repelled by the Syrian soldiers, backed up by National Defense Forces.
Syrian fighter jets, for their part, pounded ISIL’s centers in al-Sha’er oilfield, destroying terrorists’ tanks and armored vehicles.
The Syrian warplanes also targeted ISIL’s depot of arms and ammunition in Talbiseh, while gatherings of Fatah al-Sham Front in al-Rastan and Deir Foul were pounded in Syrian air raids.
