Syrian Army strikes back against Al-Qaeda linked terrorists in the Golan Heights

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) struck back against terrorist forces in the Golan Heights, Thursday, following a powerful assault that was launched by the latter near Al-Ba’ath City.

Led by their rocket battalions, the Syrian Army rained several rockets and artillery shells on the enemy defenses west of Al-Ba’ath, scoring many direct hits in the process.

As a result of this barrage of rockets and artillery shells, the Syrian Arab Army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) were able to retake a checkpoint near Al-Ba’ath’s western perimeter.
