Syrian Army liberates new village in west Palmyra
The Syrian Army (SA) continued their large-scale offensive in the western countryside of Palmyra on Tuesday, liberating a new village from the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists near the T-4 Military Airport.
Led by Liwaa Suqour Al-Sahra (Desert Hawks Brigade) and 5th Legion, the Syrian Arab Army managed to liberate the village of Beir Al-Fawa’irah near the T-4 Airport after making another push against the Islamic State terrorists in this desert region of central Syria.
According to local activists, the Syrian Arab Army and Liwaa Suqour Al-Sahra are now pushing towards the Qasr Al-Hayr Al-Gharbi area of east Homs after liberating Beir Al-Fawa’irah today.
Over the last 24 hours, the Syrian Arab Army has made several advances in the eastern countryside of Homs, pushing as far east as the strategic Hijjar Crossroad.
