Three more Palestinians have been injured by Israeli gunfire in the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of Palestinians injured in Israeli attacks in the beleaguered enclave on Friday to six.

Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said on Friday that three men were slightly injured by Israeli gunfire east of Jabalia in northern Gaza, the English-language Lebanese newspaper The Daily Star reported.

Earlier in the day, Qudra said that three Gaza farmers were wounded by Israeli tank fire east of al-Bureij, near central Gaza’s border with Israel.

Also on Friday, Israeli troops fired tear gas, stun grenades, and rubber bullets at Palestinians participating in demonstrations in the cities of al-Khalil (Hebron) and Nablus and the village of Bilin in the West Bank.

Israeli forces have killed four Palestinians and injured over 100 others since the end of Israel’s eight-day offensive on the Gaza Strip on November 21, 2012, despite the official ceasefire.

Over 160 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed and about 1,200 others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the coastal enclave.

On February 13, Human Rights Watch condemned Israel for violating the laws of war during the eight-day war on Gaza.
