Hamas says ‘israel’ not interested in reaching a viable ceasefire

Hamas spokesperson Taher Al-Nunu has accused Israel of lacking commitment towards finalizing a prisoner exchange agreement or bringing an end to the current conflict.

Hamas leader Taher Al-Nunu has accused Israel of lacking genuine commitment towards negotiating a prisoner exchange deal and bringing an end to the current conflict.

In a televised address on Monday evening, Al-Nunu asserted that the administration led by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is uninterested in pursuing a resolution.

Al-Nunu has claimed that Netanyahu is leveraging the ongoing conflict as a means to bolster support for Donald Trump in his election campaign.

He highlighted that throughout the past year, the Israeli occupation has been unable to fulfill its stated objectives, resulting instead in a series of massacres targeting children and women.

A unified stance has emerged among Palestinians, asserting a collective vision that excludes any external parties from governing the Palestinian people.

He highlighted that “Hamas and various Palestinian factions are currently engaged in meetings and discussions aimed at formulating a unified national strategy for the post-conflict period.”

Al-Nunu stated that Hamas is actively engaging in a series of diplomatic initiatives aimed at halting what they describe as Israeli aggression against the Palestinian populace.

He concluded by asserting that the United States government acts as an ally to the Israeli occupation, implicating it in the associated crimes and massacres.
