467th day: Zionist military massacres in Gaza martyr 46,707 with 110,012 individuals reported injured

The ongoing zionist military operation in the Gaza Strip has resulted in significant loss of life and widespread devastation throughout the region.

Since the early hours of Wednesday, reports indicate that 26 Palestinians have lost their lives, with 17 of these casualties occurring in central and southern Gaza. This comes as the Israeli military operations continue unabated for the 467th consecutive day.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reports that an Israeli drone strike in the western Kaf Mawarej area of Rafah, southern Gaza, resulted in injuries to five Palestinians, with one individual in critical condition.

In recent developments, five individuals, including a woman, lost their lives and four sustained injuries following an Israeli military bombardment on a residence in the al-Nasr neighborhood of northern Rafah. Furthermore, a separate incident involving an Israeli drone strike resulted in the deaths of two Palestinians in Khirbet al-Aadas, also located in Rafah.

In Deir al-Balah, located in central Gaza, an Israeli airstrike resulted in the deaths of 11 Palestinians and left several others critically injured when it targeted a residence on al-Baraka Street. Additionally, two more individuals lost their lives in a separate airstrike on another home.

Seven individuals lost their lives and several others sustained injuries following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residence in the southern Nuseirat area of the central Gaza Strip. Furthermore, a separate airstrike on a home in the al-Bureij refugee camp resulted in the deaths of a man and his wife, with others also reported injured.

In Gaza City, an airstrike targeting al-Farabi School on al-Yarmouk Street, which serves as a shelter for displaced individuals, resulted in the deaths of seven civilians and left others injured.

In a related incident, an aerial assault targeted the al-Ahli Club, a facility serving as a refuge for displaced individuals in the Sheikh Radwan area north of Gaza City, leading to multiple casualties and injuries among civilians.

UNICEF has issued a warning concerning a mental health crisis impacting approximately 1.1 million children in the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing conflict with Israel.

In a report published on Sunday, UNICEF disclosed that children in Gaza are facing intense psychological distress, including nightmares, severe anxiety, and debilitating fear. These conditions are attributed to the ongoing Israeli airstrikes, the trauma of losing loved ones, and the escalating humanitarian crisis in the region.

According to the report, the onset of conflict in October 2023 has resulted in at least 19,000 Palestinian children losing their parents. Mental health specialists caution that the deep psychological impact experienced by these children may endure for generations to come.

This development follows closely behind a recent study that has brought to light the severe effects of the conflict in Gaza on children, with findings indicating that 96% of young Gazans perceive their death as imminent. Furthermore, nearly half of the children reportedly express a desire for death as a means to escape their trauma.
