Iraqi fighters hit ‘israeli’ target in Syria’s Golan in fresh pro-Palestinian op.

Iraq’s Islamic Resistance, an umbrella group of anti-terror fighters, has announced striking a “vital” Israeli target in Syria’s Tel Aviv-occupied Golan Heights.

The resistance issued the announcement on Saturday, saying it had hit the target “with drones.”

The fighters said they had carried out the operation “in continuation of our path in resisting the occupation, in support of our people in Gaza, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against Palestinian civilians.”

The resistance vowed to “continue striking the enemy’s strongholds.”

The coalition has been conducting numerous such strikes against targets belonging to the Israeli regime since last October, when the latter began a genocidal war against the Gaza Strip.

The war, launched following al-Aqsa Storm, a retaliatory operation by Gaza’s resistance movements, has so far killed upwards of 34,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured at least 76,900 others, while thousands remain unaccounted for.

The Iraqi anti-terror forces have also been hitting the United States’ military bases across the Arab country and neighboring Syria in protest at Washington’s unstinting support for the war.

Since the onset of the brutal military onslaught, the US has provided the regime with billions in terms of military aid, and also struck down several anti-Israeli draft resolutions at the United Nations Security Council.
